Handmade polymer clay necklace with metal beads and large decorative brass clasp
The long beads have been handmade with polymer clay using a faux dichroic glass effect. This is achieved by covering black polymer clay with metal foil and coloured inks, then rolling to crackle the foil. The clay is then cut and rolled into beads and baked. They are finished with a coat of gloss varnish and are strong, lightweight and waterproof.
The polymer clay and metal beads are linked with brass wire and the necklace is finished with a large decorative brass clasp. The necklace can be worn with the clasp at the back, or as a feature at the front.
It measures approx 53cms/21inches.
