My name is Carolyn and I design and make lampwork glass beads and sterling silver jewellery from my workshop in rural Cheshire. Each bead is individually handmade from glass rods using a lampworking torch, and annealed in a kiln for several hours for durability. The beads are then incorporated into my jewellery designs, resulting in a unique handcrafted item.
I am entirely self-taught, and constantly learning new techniques and developing my skills. In addition to making jewellery I now also make lampwork glass beads for other jewellery designers, and manage my business around looking after my young daughter. My work is available to buy online and in selected retail outlets.
A member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers and Glass Beadmakers UK, I am also a self-representing artist, membership number #G-101. When you see the SRA logo, you can be assured that the seller is selling only their own work.
