This listing is for a beautiful "Name in Lights" light sculpture of up to six letters (or numbers) of your choice.

The letters are hand cast in clear resin, using our own handmade moulds. We use a special layering technique to give a crystal effect. Our letters blend and refract the coloured lights, giving a delightful, ever changing and uplifting rainbow of light.
Usually when clear casting, we would make every effort to avoid bubbles BUT when casting these letters we try to entrap bubbles when we can (internally - not on the edges). This is because the lights catch the bubbles and create extra "dings" and sparkles in the letters.
They are lit with colour change leds, which draw very little power (<500ma (milliamps) at 5v (volts)), making them both economical and safe. The letters measure 12mm deep and 48mm high.

The bases are hand crafted from sustainably sourced English Oak in "butchers block" style and finished with green beize / felt. They are powered either from the mains (each name light supplied to the UK comes with a free mains power adapter) or the USB on your PC. They use only a tiny amount of electricity.

The overall height of the finished piece is just under 10cm.

The pictures show some different colour states - the lights start out red (5 seconds) and then randomly blend colours, giving a tie-dye effect. Your finished name will seldom look the same twice.
