Child’s Large Chalkboard Personalised Toybox – Green sides.

As ever, we use bright and bold colours for this toybox – this is not a gift that is going to sit unnoticed in a corner of a room, and then be forgotten. Our children’s large toybox is a gift that will be used daily, and loved forever. We all know how – in adulthood – we look back fondly on the mementoes of our childhood, and even bring them back into usage. Perhaps this toybox would even be passed onto the children of the child(ren) that it was initially given to. Who knows ? And don’t forget – this is not only a container for your child’s toys – it is also a toy in itself, featuring a chalkboard as the top of the box – and, of course, we supply a starter pack of chalk to get the fun going.

These toyboxes are solidly constructed with a pine frame on all sides, which is dovetail jointed at the corners for strength and durability. The wood is protected with a combination beeswax finish, and this is easily refreshed over the life of the box. The composite wooden sides are rebated into the frame, again for strength, and you have a wide choice of colours. The lid is attached to the body of the box with a “piano hinge”, and secured with two webbing straps. The whole box can be cleaned by wiping it down with a DAMP cloth or sponge (not a wet one), and this is also how to remove the chalk from the chalkboard, and start again with a clean surface. The box lid (ie the chalkboard) is also pine framed, dovetail jointed in the corners, and the chalkboard is rebated into the frame.

We offer the option of having a personalised message applied to the front of the box – perhaps a name and/or a date of birth and/or an occasion – up to you really. There are 35 characters available to create your message, and you can also choose from five font styles and six font colours. This will be done before it leaves our workshop.

Lastly, each box is supplied with a pack of “Fun to See” stickers (choose from the four options illustrated when you make your purchase). These are for you to apply on receipt of the toybox, and your child can help you to choose the position of each sticker.
