Wooden Beach Hut Toybox.

Very different – very special – very attractive.

Our Handmade Wooden Beach Hut Toybox is one of a kind – we are not aware of anybody else offering a product like this. It really is a miniature version of the real thing – a wooden frame secured together with dovetail joints, with “clapboard” (or tongue & groove cladding) sides. The sides and gables are painted in a selection of bright and happy colours – as per the tradition of the real beach huts standing next to the beach. And on the roof, we have incorporated two sides of chalkboard material, this allows 2 or more children to play on the chalkboards at once, turning it into both a toy chest and a toy in it’s own right. The lid can also be placed directly on to the floor and be used as a chalkboard, whilst leaving the toy box open for other children to access their toys, Of course, we include a starter pack of chalks to get the fun going.

It is strong, and, at a capacity of 158 litres, big enough to contain most of the toys that a small child might have.

The box pictured is Velvet Purple and Lime Green. The roof is the black of the chalkboard, and the structural framework is finished in natural combination wax, which is easy to freshen up with domestic furniture polish.

The roof lifts off to reveal the cavernous toy storage area and we incorporate a door frame for a "blind" door to make it look that bit more authentic. Lastly, we finish it off with a name board hung above the door, making sure that a jealous Dad can’t appropriate the toy box for himself ! (Please use the drop down menu to tell us the name that should appear on the name board – we have a limit of 25 letters that will fit into the available space).

We guarantee that every child will be delighted with this fantastic toy box. None of their friends will have anything like it, and they will be envy of the whole neighbourhood.

We would underline that this toybox is constructed here in Leicestershire, from FSC sourced wood. All right-angled joints are dovetail jointed and glued, and this makes them attractive and strong. This toy box is not imported from anywhere – but sent direct to you, from us, with pride in our craftsmanship.
