Sparrow Primitives' distinctive signature and sought after decorative wooden shelf blocks are all carefully and expertly handmade. They are cut and sanded in Sparrow Primitives' studio from locally sourced FSC approved solid wood, then handpainted and distressed. No aspect of the work is outsourced, ensuring a top quality product. Our gorgeous and highly detailed hand painted picture blocks take many, many hours to produce, resulting in a fabulous product unlike anything found on the High Street. These beautiful blocks look stunning on a mantlepiece, shelf, dresser or as part of a window or table display. They are also very popular as birthday party decorations.

They are handcrafted, so slight variations will occur. We use only top grade wood but sometimes there may be slight imperfections as it is a natural product.

The picture block measures approximately 10cm tall x 10cm wide x 4cm deep and the sign block approximately 7cm tall x 23cm wide x 4cm deep.

They are not toys and are not suitable for children to play with.
