Baroque Red Heart Sea Glass Pendant
A richly coloured pendant using a piece of deep reddish brown sea glass as it's centre. This piece of glass is almost certainly from the neck of a bottle as the line where the neck narrows creates the heart effect. Set into a mount of vintage and modern beads in shades of red to make a heart shaped pendant.
I've deliberately accented the slightly off centre shape by hanging it slightly skewed and having a different edging on one side. The edging grows into a woven fringe with a small deep red glass heart hanging from the point.
The pendant hangs from several loops of beads suspended on a three strand twisted necklace of beads, fastened with a large hand made glass bead. The necklace is approximately 18" long the heart shaped pendant is roughly 2" deep and 1.5" wide
