Margaret Forsythe

Scottish Princess

Scottish Princess Designs is a one-royal-person operation creating quality, hand made jewellery at affordable prices. OK, so I'm not really a princess, nor am I even remotely royal and I don't take myself too seriously. I am Scottish though and I do design and make my jewellery myself. I started making jewellery during the second half of 2008 in the run up to my wedding. I was shocked to see the prices of the bridal jewellery and tiaras available in the shops and after investigating what other options there were I decided to have a go at making my own tiara. I was really pleased with the result but realised that if I wanted matching jewellery I'd have to make that as well. I discovered that I enjoyed the whole creative process, from the initial conception and choosing the materials to the design and, finally, making each individual piece. I like to experiment with different materials and techniques. I love it when I find two completely different materials or colours that go really well together. I have a few classic designs that I will make in my own way but I love making something that's totally unique. When I start out to make a new piece of jewellery it very often turns out to be totally unlike my original idea. That's part of the fun of it, finding out how the picture you have inside your head will translate into reality. I am also happy to make bespoke items, so if you would like me to make something especially for you, all you have to do is ask.

Scottish Princess postage

West Lothian, Bathgate, United Kingdom.
All items being sent to a UK address will be sent using either the Royal Mail First Class or Second Class Recorded Delivery service depending on your preference. If you are in a hurry for your purchase, I can send it by Special Delivery before 1pm. Just choose the most appropriate delivery option.

I realise that the cost of delivery of parcels to Europe and the rest of the world can be prohibitive for a tracked or Signed for service, so I have added the option of a non-tracked service for international parcels. You can choose between the Royal Mail International Standard and International Tracked and Signed services. Some services may not be available in the destination country but I will do my best to find a service that suits you.

Scottish Princess will endeavour to post all items within 3 working days of payment.
